Introduction:
The third chapter of the Shri Guru Charitra transitions from the principles of Guru-devotion to the grand narratives of the Puranas. It beautifully illustrates how the Supreme Divine responds to the unwavering faith of a devotee.

Meaning: Have faith that by listening, a man becomes wise and lives for a hundred years. By listening with focus, even the great sin of killing a Brahmin is destroyed.
